Last details

I am very excited because tomorrow is the day. Yesterday I met Hiro at Yoyogi to try to ask somebody with an amplifier if he can let play the music but there was nobody.

The Flash Mob will be around 5pm but it may delay a little. The meeting point will be the south shore of the central pond at 4:30pm. So you can meet and know you a little.

If you have any question, ask me please.

Departing to Japan

The coreography is almost ready. Maybe today or tomorrow. But I want you to listen to the mix I have made. You can see it lasts 9 minutes, but the coreography is just 2 minutes. I remind you that the first song is free dancing and in the last, everybody will make a circle aroud us.

I want to say everybody thank you for the help. Without you I couldn't do it. Today we are picking our first flight (to Istambul) and we will be in Japan on Thursday.

And dont hesitate in contacting me at davefortheflash@gmail.com to ask me.

It is almost prepared. A few details.

At first, I have to say thank you to everybody who is interested in participating and helping me in this adventure. If you were not there I couldn't do it.

I have thought about the music and the place and I think we are going to do it this way. There will be three fragments of a song. The first one will be:

Generations from Exile Tribe/Love you more

In this song, I want everybody dance freely. Just to set the mood. My girlfriend and I will be watching it and I will encourage her to participate. She likes FlashMobs and she wants to participate in one.

The second song wil be:

Sweet Nothing by Calvin Harris and Florence Welch

The coreography will start with this song. I have asked to a friend if she can design the coreography. i hope she can. When it is set, I will show it to you. It will be easy. I will be about 2 minutes. Not too long.

And for the last one I I want her to get surprised. I haven't told it yet, but she and I have a musical duet. We play folk indie music and our name is Harmony & Dave. i want the last one to be one of our songs.

Play with the sun by Harmony & Dave.

In this song I want you all to make a circle around us, and then I will ask her to marry me.

I think the suitable place is Yoyogi Koen. And I have not decided the date. That depends on YOU, volunteers. I have created a form so you choose your preferences.

More things: Some people have sent me a message but I don't know if they are going to come alone or with friends. It is also on the form.

Please fill the next form:

Flash Mob in Tokyo

I have created this blog because I want to organize a Flash Mob in Tokyo. I am from Valencia, Spain, so I know it is difficult to manage it. For that reason, I am looking for volunteers who want to help me.
The reason I want to do this is that I am going to propose my girlfriend, and I want it to be special. We are travelling to Japan from from mid-June to mid-July and we are staying in Tokyo the first 10 days of July.
I have read lots of things about Japan and Tokyo and we are longing this journey for many years. We love Japan, and she loves specially kawaii things. So I thought Tokyo would be the right place to propose her.

I am looking for VOLUNTEERS to help me organize it. I need dancers, no need to be professional, just something casual. And I need a coreographer who can design an easy dance.
This coud be an example:

And because of I don't speak Japanese (although I promise to learn), I would need the help from people who could translate some information into Japanese. Although I have my friend Hiro, who has helped me a lot, but I don't want to take advantage of his generosity.

I also would be happy to receive suggestions about where to do it. Many people has told me about Odaiba, but many other told me about Shinjuku or places like that.

I will update this blog when I have more information. I think the best day to do it  would between the 3rd and the 6th of July

Thanks everybody in advance!
